More than 4300 accessions of sesame germplasm resources at home and abroad have been

complementarily collectedand stored by Henan Sesame Research Center. All the collections

have been propagated, catalogued,and stored (>50g of sample quantity). Botanic and biological

characteristics, agronomic and qualitytraits, resistances and tolerances to diseases and stresses

of all kinds of the above collections were identified and evaluated. Sesame germplasm resources

database was primarily constructed.
